It was just a well-suited match for a getaway in Inverness with excellent value for money. The shower was awesome, really refreshing after a long day. Make sure to check the room layout as accessing some rooms can be tricky with bags.

The room with a river view had updated decor and was cheerful, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
The building itself feels a bit tired. while the room looked fine, common areas did show signs of wear and tear. During my stay, housekeeping missed emptying waste baskets and didn't replace coffee supplies, which felt a bit neglectful. The dining area had minimal staff, making me less inclined to dine there, especially when I noticed only a few patrons present with options that could use some improvement.

Comfortable Stay with Stunning River Views
Enjoyed a delightful night with a lovely view of the river. The lounge offered a cozy space to unwind. Our evening meal was satisfactory, but be prepared for a bit of a wait if dining. Suggestable to book ahead for peak hours!

The location was perfect for our needs and the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially during breakfast where they refilled everything quickly. I also loved that we could stroll along the river to the Ness Islands, it made for a romantic evening.
It certainly wasn't inexpensive but still acceptable for the charming qualities it provided.

perfect central base for exploring inverness and parks
I loved how close the hotel was to the beautiful Greig Street Bridge and just a leisurely stroll away from the charming Victorian Market, making my weekend explorations so enjoyable and convenient. while everything I needed was there, I think breakfast could use some improvement as it was lacking in warmth and variety.

We had a fantastic one-night stay with a very clean and comfortable double room. There were relaxing spa services and a lovely garden area to unwind in. The only downside was that some of the furniture showed signs of wear and tear, but it didn’t take away from our experience. 👍

I had a nice experience despite waiting a long time for hot water. The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable. The view of the castle was a highlight, and the bed was comfortable. I would come back for the location and ambiance.
The waiting time for hot water was frustrating. I also noticed cleanliness issues that needed attention. it felt like the hotel could improve its facilities.

The view of the river from my room was stunning. I loved the friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff were attentive and helpful. My room had a decent size and was clean, which was a plus. the bathroom needed some serious attention. The extractor fan didn’t work, leading to steam buildup. The wifi connection was frustratingly slow. The breakfast could use improvement. the eggs were dry and the sausages were burnt on my second day. I expected better for the price. the location is fantastic, but the maintenance issues really detracted from the stay.
